Timothy Overton

Tim is an attorney in Knight-Swift Transportation’s legal department, where he handles a variety of legal issues facing Knight and Swift Transportation. Prior to working at Knight-Swift, Tim litigated a variety of matters as a partner for three different big law firms. Tim has provided diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging training and consulting for a variety of companies and organizations for several years and is a former adjunct law professor who taught Race and The Law at ASU Law School. Tim is noted for leading trainings and discussions that disarm difficult conversations and empower participants to address all things diversity related within their own organizations. Tim also coaches youth basketball and organizes adult basketball games.
