Hayzel B. Daniels Scholarship Dinner Sponsorship

This year’s Arizona Black Bar’s 2026 Hayzel B. Daniels Scholarship Dinner will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026,at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center in Downtown Phoenix. Each year, we bring together more than 200 judges, civil practitioners, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law students, and community leaders from across Arizona to invest in the next generation of legal leadership.

This year’s venue carries special significance. The Carver Museum originally opened in 1926 as Phoenix Union Colored High School, serving African American students during segregation. Today, it stands as a historic landmark dedicated to preserving and celebrating African American history and culture in Arizona.

Scholarship support is more important now than ever as law students face rising educational and bar preparation costs. Your sponsorship would not only help provide meaningful financial assistance, but would also demonstrate continued commitment to diversity, leadership, and the future of Arizona’s legal community.

We would be grateful for your support of this important event – and don’t forget your sneakers!
